Training
Personal Training, here at Total Form Fitness, is catered towards our clients. We put together a unique work-out routine for each client’s specific needs. Clients are able to schedule sessions at their most convenient time, and since our clients are trained individually they will not need to worry about competitive with other clients. We make sure all of our clients have perfect form for each exercise in order to prevent injuries, increase strength, and increase flexibility.
At Total Form Fitness we believe our trainers act as a team. If one of our trainers happens to be sick on one day, we expect another trainer will work with the clients of the sick trainer.
In addition, there is no risk in coming to Total Form Fitness for your first session. The first session is free and it is an easy way for anyone to check out our gym. During the first session we do our best to assess your current fitness level. We also wish to help you better understand how Total Form Fitness operates and how we can help you accomplish any of your fitness goals.

Four phase Approach
Phase 1: Building a Base
Our trainers will attempt to identify any weaknesses our clients may have. Those weaknesses will be addressed by improving our clients’ flexibility, strength, endurance.
Phase 2: Develop Strength and Condition
We will add to the base that was established in Phase 1, adding resistance with a strong emphasis on progression to elevate overall fitness level.
Technique of strength training becomes a crucial factor in this phase.
Phase 3: Range of Motion (R.O.M.)
Clients’ will be pushed to workout out a more strenuous level than before. Work-outs will combine phases 1 and 2 to maximize our clients’ muscle strength and flexibility and reduce body composition (body fat). Increasing range of motion to get to the next level, decrease recovery time, and increase in performance.
Phase 4: Elite Training
Clients, in this phase, are physically strong High School, Collegiate, and Professional athletes. Our trainers develop sports specific workouts to help these clients maintain their high level of fitness. These workouts stimulate fast twitch fibers for these athletes who seek power and explosiveness. Slow twitch muscles are also triggered for the high level endurance athletes.
Calculating Cardio
To gauge how well conditioned our clients are, our state of the art VO2 Fitness Assessment System will test their endurance. This system measures the oxygen consumption (VO2) and heart rate of our clients. These measurements are used to find target heart rate zones based on the client’s aerobic and anaerobic thresholds. The information is graphically presented in a way that is easiest for our clients to understand. By finding all of this information we will be able to work our clients out at an optimal level that will facilitate fat loss and increase muscular strength.

Our number one priority is our clients. We will make every attempt to make sure that our clients accomplish any goals they may have. Whether a client wants to lose weight, gain strength, or even train for a marathon our team of trainers will do everything possible to make sure that client gets what he or she desires.
