Leo Lopes
In 2007, Leo Lopes founded Total Form Fitness. As the owner of the gym, Leo oversees Total Form Fitness, and remains passionate toward his personal training. With his 12 years of experience as a Physical Fitness Instructor, Leo has trained people of all fitness levels including Collegiate and Olympic athletes. Prior to working as a trainer, Leo followed his dreams of Wrestling at the Division I level and competing in the national arena of Professional Judo. He trained at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid and ranked as high as 4th in USA Judo. However, after suffering from a knee injury, Leo was forced to retire from his Judo career and so he transferred his energy to Physical Fitness. Currently Leo focuses most of his time at Total Form Fitness while volunteering as a Judo Instructor. Leo is a graduate of Sacred Heart University and uses the knowledge he gained there to develop a gym and a training staff that is able and willing to help anyone attain their personal fitness goals.
Adam Sienkiewicz
Adam joined Total Form Fitness in 2007 and currently serves as Manager of the gym. Originally form Poland, Adam was a nationally renowned Judo player. As a junior, Adam won bronze and silver medals at the Judo National Championships. Adam's success continued as a adult when he won bronze and silver medals at Poland's National Judo Championships. Upon coming to America in 2005, Adam earned his certification to become a personal fitness instructor. Soon after gaining his certification, Adam proceeded in his studies of physical fitness and worked to gain a certification as a Golf Fitness Instructor from Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). Adam's thirst for knowledge and passion for work is part of what makes him a valuable member of the Total Form Fitness team. He is enthusiastic, energetic, and works to help clients reach their physical fitness potential all while having fun.
Doug Zani
Doug has been at Total Form Fitness since 2009. When Doug was just ten years-old, he migrated from Brazil to the United States. Here in America Doug excelled in soccer. He made his high school varsity team as a 7th grader, and in 2006 he led Mount Vernon Soccer to their first winning season in ten years. Soon after graduating from Mount Vernon High School, Doug finished playing soccer and dedicated himself to working as a physical fitness instructor. He received his national certification to become a trainer in 2008 and in 2009 he joined the Total Form Fitness Team. As the Assistant Manager at Total Form Fitness, Doug has been one of the hardest working trainers as he closely works with all clients to achieve their fitness goals.
Pete Caputo
Pete began his work here in the summer of 2010. Pete was born and has lived in Scarsdale, NY for his entire life. Pete grew up playing hockey and was actually a member of the first hockey team established in Scarsdale that has expanded into the well known, Scarsdale Youth Hockey Association. Pete has been playing hockey locally as well as in Canada and Europe. Ever since his youth, Pete has grown and learned to have a serious passion for fitness and wellness. He went to college at Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 2010. Soon after he graduated, he became a nationally certified trainer and became a great addition to our team here at Total Form Fitness. Pete's knowledge of the human anatomy as well as his athletic background have proven to assist him in becoming a vital addition to the Total Form Fitness Team.
Frank Cammisa
Frank has been working at Total Form Fitness since 2008. He offers a wealth of knowledge about training from his days as a wrestler and as an Exercise Science major at Bridgewater State College. As a high school wrestler, Frank was an all-star. In the 125 LB, 135 LB, and the 140 LB weight classes, Frank won three conference championships, two state championships, and was a two-time New England Runner-up. All of this earned Frank the title of an all-American in his senior year of high school. In college, Frank continued his success as a wrestler being a three-time NEWA Conference champion and a four time national qualifier. Frank currently serves as the Assistant Coach for the Bridgewater State University Wrestling team. Frank's years of experience make for a substantial contribution to the Total Form Fitness Team and his colleagues look up to him with high regard.
John Marsh
John is known for his endless high school and collegiate wrestling achievements. At New Bedford High School John was a two time Captain, a two time State Finalist and a one time National Qualifier. He also set two State records for having the most pins in the shortest time period- he did this in both the Sectional and State Championships. Due to his impressive 120 victories and taking on the title of Elite Athlete, John was named the "Boston Globe Wrestler of the Year" and was inducted into the Massachusetts Hall of Fame in 2010. John was the Team Captain of his College for two years, he lives an ascetic lifestyle and is a fantastic role model for all- he recovered from a dramatic car accident in College and always is in top athletic condition. Approaching the finish line together, John ande Brian ranked top-3 in the 20-29 year old division at the annual Scarsdale 4 Mile Run. Aside from dominating state competitions, John became a two time Division III National and the 2010 New England Champion. By the end of his collegiate career, John had 110 victories and was the Bridgewater State College Athlete of the Year. Throughout his time in college, John prepared for his AFAA certification and completed his degree, earning a Bachekors of Science in Exercise Science. Due to his outstanding athletic career, experiences with injuries, rehabilitation and studies in exercise science, he has amassed a wealth of knowledge regarding the physics of proper training technique. His contribution as an academic fitness enthusiast has immense impact on his colleagues as he continues to increase the standard of what makes a well rounded Personal Trainer.
Brain Pereira
Brian joined the Total Form Fitness Team of trainers in the Summer of 2010. He comes from a training background as a Core Fitness Instructor in Randolph, NJ as well as a Judo and Self-Defense Specialist teaching classes all throughout the Tri-State area. Brian currently resides in Manhattan where he trains Judo at the New York Athletic Club. Brian currently studies Economics at Hunter College. Alongside his dedicated training here in Hartsdale, Brian competes internationally in Judo. He represented Total Form Fitness in the US Open this year, ranked 5th at the 2011 US Senior Nationals, and is the 2011 National Collegiate Champion- his results have earned him a spot on the US Team competing in the World University Games in Shenzen, China. Training comes naturally to Brian- the enjoyment he experiences in motivating clients to achieve their goals and have fun is visually apparent during training sessions.
Dylan Lacey
Dylan is one of the more recent additions to our training staff. Dylan was born in Rome, NY and grew up in Sleepy Hollow where he played on the high school varsity hockey team for four years. In 2009 he led his team to a sectional championship and was the two time MVP and All League Award Winner. Dylan has been a certified trainer since 2009 and having a bright athletic background has made for a smooth transition into effective training. He has been an absolutely fantastic trainer who has proven to be a very constructive addition to the Total Form Fitness training team.
